A Victorian, 18 carat yellow gold ring set with 5 graduated cabochon coral interspersed with rose cut diamond spacers in a classic London Bridge style that was particularly popular amongst Birmingham jewellery makers in the Victorian era. This is a very collectible style.
The ring is a delicate example of it's particular type and beautifully made in a higher carat gold. The coral would be untreated as is typical of coral used from this period and the blush pink hue and uniform colours of the cabochons are suggestive of this being a higher quality London Bridge ring from the period.
Unmarked but tests as 18 carat gold.
Weight: 3.55 grams
Ring size: P 1/2
Condition: in fantastic, antique condition. The coral cabochons are a little loose in their settings but they are firmly set and secure. This is just a part of how the ring was designed and manufactured.
