Late Qing Dynasty He Chaozong Revival Budai
A lovely dehua (Blanc de Chine) resting budai with a fantastic toothy smile. Marked to the reverse with a two character double gourd stamp and an apocryphal He Chaozong four character square seal.
The He Chaozong Revival ran between the last quarter of the 19th century to the first quarter of the 20th century.
